Steam and other digital distribution services, along with the (relatively) cheap hardware these days is helping, but even I can't argue against the simple convenience of using a console. Hopefully this year's PC offerings will help boost support for the platform. Windows 7's impressive performance improvements may also help. I really hope PC gaming makes the comeback it deserves, but I’m not convinced it’s going to happen.
