I really dont mind our EB here, i usually just go in and ask for whatever game i want, and the dude will go grab it for me. I get the usual question about the insurance, but the only other thing is if they have a used copy of whatever im buying they usually ask me if i want that instead.

I havent been asked to preorder since... wow, its been awhile, i think it was that star wars bounty hunter game, for the xbox.

People in the states seem to have more problems, maybe the stores here in Canada are just run differently.

My game store experiences have always been really hit or miss. At one store there are guys who know me and can literally guess what I'm coming in to buy. They don't bother me about preordering and are generally great guys to chat with. The other stores near me are filled with jerks who always assume I'm buying games for my boyfriend/husband/brother/male friend.

My recommendation for you Sam is to sign up for Amazon Prime. Where you live the shipping would be overnight instead of 2 day (I get stuff literally overnight and I'm in NJ the distro center is in PA) and they usually have games on release day and at least $5 cheaper than everywhere else. Totally worth it for the yearly prime membership.

They're building one beside Costco. It's still a pain to drive out that way frequently, though. All that stinky traffic.
